Conceived by Japanese architect Yuko Nagayama, the Kumiko-inspired façade, served as the centrepiece for the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. It now graces the returning Women's Pavilion for its second instalment. The façade has been repurposed, marking an unprecedented initiative and forging a connection between the two global expositions.

Multi-award winning contemporary British artist, Es Devlin, the Global Artistic Lead of Women’s Pavilion, has created an audio experience offering glimpses into how individuals and communities can come together to shape a brighter, more equitable future.
